About the Event

Hosted by CPC's Leadership Council of young leaders during AAPI Heritage Month, we invite you to our inaugural Mahjong Night on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at CPC One! This evening promises to be a lively celebration of: learning a game dear to our ancestors; making sure that, yes, we've eaten; and uplifting our ever expanding community. For us, community is over 61 years of community members, staff, partners, supporters like yourself, and all the lives that CPC has affected. From the adult who grew up well fed because their parents enrolled in SNAP with CPC's support, to the grandchildren that have a relationship with their grandmother because she went to CPC's English classes, CPC is generations of Asian American, immigrant, and low-income New Yorkers. Join us as we celebrate the power of our lived experiences and the strength of our community together!
